(Here is some food for thought:)

Sometimes, we are in love with the  idea of falling in love; Loving the illusion of having or missing someone. It's alright to feel happy through other people, but don't get dependent on achieving happiness by being with someone.

Do not trust appearances; they are often false ~
Do not interest yourself in wealth; it will disappear ~ Whether it is money, partners, relatives or  friends there will always be areas where other people have more than you. That isn't to say you can't become abundant in whatever you want.

Important Lesson:
Just because someone has 'more', that doesn't mean they are happy.

Seek somebody who communicates with you in laughter because one laughter could turn a very sad day into one of joy!
True happiness dwells in a joyful heart!

Show me who you love. . .
and I'll show you who you are!

This one person out of the hundreds of visitors

I wish there were more Mr. Wright’s in this world. God certainly blest him with a most fitting name indeed!!

You, too,

Comments: Hello, I happened upon your website for the first time today. It broke my heart to see your home page -- that no one had reached out to you on your website to give you encouragement and let you know they are praying for your daughter. I am a 3 1/2 year cancer survivor and have two nieces who are also survivors. I know how devastating a cancer diagnosis is. Please e-mail me the current situation and I will keep you and your daughter in prayer. Until I hear from you, I'm hoping she is okay and praying for peace and comfort for you. Comments: This is my first visit to your website. Firstly, I am deeply saddened and feel shame that none of God's children uttered a prayer for your daughter during her illness. What a disappointment that is for you. I'm sorry I didn't know you then, because my prayers for all of your family would have been there. I pray now that God's love and healing power will heal that hurt and your heart know forgiveness to thoughtless individuals who forget to pray for other's needs. We all need prayer and to give prayer to others at all times, because prayer is needed for all at all times. I pray that His spiritual rain will pour over you. Grace,Peace, Love, Barb Shelton

Dearest Hevinlee, The tears certainly fall as I read through your website. I can only imagine what you've been through. I was not abused as a child, but my best friend was abused for 11 years by an uncle. I'm sending her the link to your website. You are an awesome woman of God! Thank you for being an open vessel for God to work through to bring this book into being. I pray that it will help many. We have a loving God who is with us always. I have four children. One son went to heaven on August 28, 2007, at the age of 45, after a three-month battle with cancer. Another son and two daughters are still living here on earth, and thanks to God, only five miles away. I have eight grandchildren (on earth) and four great-grandchildren. I love them so much. They're a precious gift from God. Brian is an awesome man of God also. God bless you and your family!! Luke 1:37 "For with God nothing will be impossible." In Christ's love, Linda

 Dearest Hevinlee,

If I can wipe the tears off my face to write this I'll be lucky.  What an awesome woman of God you are. I spent some time on your website and went through so many emotions. I have not been abused, as a child that is, but know people that have.  What an inspiration you are to anyone that has been through or witnessed abuse.  I can't tell you what a blessing you are to the world.  You are not here by accident.  God will use you to help people here.  Your husband sounds like mine.  Men are funny creatures aren't they?  But thanks be to the Father that He sent them to us. I also have 3 children and 6 grand-kids that live in 3 different states.  I miss them something awful but talk to them on the phone weekly. Thank-you for sharing your life with us Hevinlee. I know you will be a blessing to all of us.

Your friend in Christ,  Terrri

I'm writing this through tears... I can't express how powerfully moved I was just to read thru your website. I sensed the very presence of God as I felt linked to you, my sister in the Lord. Jesus is faithful! He said, "I'll never leave you nor forsake you, even unto the end of the age"! I can only imagine what you went thru. I worked for a good period of time in a state hospital for the mentally ill - saw and experinced some things I would never want to repeat - but would not trade for the world - God has given me a compassion for others I didn't think was possible. I am a pastor... will purchase your book.. and share how Great and Magnificent is our savior- you are one more beautiful proof! I will pray for you and yours - love you in the Lord!

I tried unsuccessfully to put in a review for this book on the publishers site, so I decided to write it to you personally. Please feel free to publish this on your website and/or as a ‘review’ on your publisher’s page.

This book was eloquently written and easy to read. This book left a lasting impression on me. I feel like I know all the characters by heart and by name. God bless this author for stepping up for those who remain silent. This is not only a ‘tell all’ book but the author also makes herself readily available to be contacted by those in need. May you sell millions!!!

I cannot wait to read your next one. I read where you are working on three more - Wow. I am so glad I joined this group of such caring Christians. I will be advertising your book on MySpace if that is ok with you Hevinlee. This needs to be shared and spread around. I wish you all the luck in the world. God bless.

Hevinlee, I just got wind of what's been happening and you have my permission to post this. I have known you for a long time now. I also have my own website. I can relate to the post of the jerk who tried to get to'ya via your Guest Book. My ex tried that method too and failed. Bottom line...JEALOUSY!! It always is!! Look at you Hevinlee. Look at what U have accomplished! Look how many many friends you have made, and how many ppl love you. For a 'stranger' to suddenly pop up and say all those nasty things only proves how jealous they are of you honey. You have risen from the very bottom of the deepest pit to a mountain top. Keep looking up. Don't let anyone steal that beautiful light of yours sweetie. Love'ya 2 pieces!

Hevinlee, please post this in your Guest Book honey. I've read your book and I find myself reading it over and over. I am sorry you endured so much pain. I felt every emotion Mary felt. You are so blessed to have been able to express all that and not once did I feel any hatred coming from the victim Mary. Only a numbness that I can relate to. There are a lot of Mary's out there Hevinlee and I'm proud to know you. You stepped forward so others might too. I hope your book sells millions. The song playing here fits you to a 'T'. God knew that you needed a blessing and sent you Brian. So glad I know you sis. You are an inspiration to me.

I agree with Ashley. This person sounds like they are craving attention and lacking a life of their own. I suggest we ignore them. People like that are like stalkers. They are obviously jealous, have no backbone and like to attack people in a sneaky fashion. (lol...I didn't major 4 years in psychology for nothing)

Hevinlee, remember, you are covered by the precious blood of Jesus! We all stand (not behind you) but 'beside' you 100%!! God will handle this, you'll see.

Hevinlee! So glad you took a stand against the evil attacks from satan! You go girl! You didn't come this far to let the likes of someone like that bring you down. You are a part of a special family and we all love you and pay no mind to outside evil forces. 'Greater is He that is in us, than he who is in the world' amen? Amen! I love talking to you and appreciate all that you stand for. Remember, a 'cord of three' cannot be easily broken. Luv'ya! Love to Brian as well!

You are a wonderful example of how God can take something so terrible and use it for good in so many ways. I am blessed by your website and I know that God will continue to use you to show His glory through the triumph of your overcoming adversity. Those horrible experiences you went through cultivated the most beautiful heart of love and compassion. And God took those ashes and exchanged them for beauty, the beauty of the love that you share with your husband and the three beautiful children you have. And the beautiful baby that you will hold when you finally go home to be with our Father. I may not ever meet you here on earth, but when we get to heaven, I will know you. I look forward to that day. Your sister in Christ, Debra

I'm not sure I can handle the book itself, but I certainly intend to try. I applaud you for the courage I KNOW it took to write this book and put it out for all the world to see. I pray some child's life will be changed because of it ... that someone will make the decision to act on their suspicions of abuse, thereby freeing a child from the horrors he/she is enduring in pitiful, shamed silence. God bless you, Hevinlee! Your website has blessed me today.

Submitted on: March 23, 2006 10:19:38 AM EST I have never known of such abuse of those patients in an institution. My God I hope the place is closed down. I have a strong stomach but to be there in person, I would have been sick. Abuse is one of my soapboxes.

Submitted on: January 11, 2006 9:35:06 PM EST Well you didn't paint a pretty picture, but you told the story of too many women very well. I worked as Counselor in a DV shelter for 15 years. Worked with all kinds of abuse issues. You're story is tragically real. Lord Bless you as you fight to stop abuse in your own special way

Submitted on: December 11, 2005 7:12:38 PM EST I have shed tears of pain tonight for the children for their families. May the Lord Bless and Comfort You and Keep you and your loved ones safe from now unto forever...for he is life ...He is A Savior. I am Sorry. I will forever share your pain Hevinlee. I have no words of comfort for the pain is too great for but a human. But we have the Lord and he can push us forth with his love and his justice.

Submitted on: August 26, 2005 8:28:23 PM EDT Thank you Hevinlee, Your website is lovely and you are a lovely and courageous woman. I wish you all the best and hope your book sells a million copies and continues to spread the word that these kinds of horrible crimes have got to stop. Our stories may be upsetting and as you say, some will be offended but not nearly as badly as those who suffer through the crimes. Thank you again. I am going to purchase your book.

Submitted on: July 15, 2005 1:55:21 PM EDT A friend of mine directed me to this site. Her name is Patt (PPattivan7). She knows that this is a subject close to my heart as I was sexually abused as a child. I am a strong Christian and that is the only thing that has given me comfort. I don't know what would have happened if it were not for some faithful Christians who kept me covered in prayer as a youngster. As I did not accept the Lord as my personal Savior until i was in my 30's. Thank you for this wonderful frank web site

Submitted on: June 25, 2005 9:01:26 PM EDT Hi Hevinlee, I know how hard you book was to write. My 1st editor told me that Teeter Totter had no emotional content. I hated to go 'back' to find that emotion, but it helped me to get over, and through the nightmare. Love ya, Ruby
