Dearest Hevinlee, The tears certainly fall as I read through your website. I can only imagine what you've been through. I was not abused as a child, but my best friend was abused for 11 years by an uncle. I'm sending her the link to your website. You are an awesome woman of God! Thank you for being an open vessel for God to work through to bring this book into being. I pray that it will help many. We have a loving God who is with us always. I have four children. One son went to heaven on August 28, 2007, at the age of 45, after a three-month battle with cancer. Another son and two daughters are still living here on earth, and thanks to God, only five miles away. I have eight grandchildren (on earth) and four great-grandchildren. I love them so much. If I can wipe the tears off my face to write this I'll be lucky. What an awesome woman of God you are. I spent some time on your website and went through so many emotions. I have not been abused, as a child that is, but know people that have. What an inspiration you are to anyone that has been through or witnessed abuse. I can't tell you what a blessing you are to the world. You are not here by accident. God will use you to help people here. Your husband sounds like mine. Men are funny creatures aren't they? But thanks be to the Father that He sent them to us. I also have 3 children and 6 grand-kids that live in 3 different states. I miss them something awful but talk to them on the phone weekly. I'm writing this through tears... I can't express how powerfully moved I was just to read thru your website. I sensed the very presence of God as I felt linked to you, my sister in the Lord. Jesus is faithful! He said, "I'll never leave you nor forsake you, even unto the end of the age"! I can only imagine what you went thru. I worked for a good period of time in a state hospital for the mentally ill - saw and experinced some things I would never want to repeat - but would not trade for the world - God has given me a compassion for others I didn't think was possible. This book was eloquently written and easy to read. This book left a lasting impression on me. I feel like I know all the characters by heart and by name. I can relate to the post of the jerk who tried to get to'ya via your Guest Book. My ex tried that method too and failed. Bottom line...JEALOUSY!! It always is!! Look at you Hevinlee. Hevinlee, please post this in your Guest Book honey. I've read your book and I find myself reading it over and over. I am sorry you endured so much pain. I felt every emotion Mary felt. You are so blessed to have been able to express all that and not once did I feel any hatred coming from the victim Mary. Only a numbness that I can relate to. I agree with Ashley. This person sounds like they are craving attention and lacking a life of their own. I suggest we ignore them. People like that are like stalkers.
