This book is dedicated to:

 First and foremost to - God for granting me the

strength to write this book. Without Him, this book

would not have been possible. It took me over five years to write it, as many parts were too overbearing for me to recall and I would be forced to retreat to my bed for weeks at a time due to severe depression. So "Thank You Lord for blessing me through not only those five years, but for where I stand now, in Jesus name, amen."

 Secondly, my reason for living and the love of my life that God blessed me with . . . Brian - for his enduring love, encouragement, support, and gifted sense of humor. As painful as this book has been to write, his playful, spontaneous acts of interjected humor made it that much more bearable for me to complete.

He is a beacon of light that shines in my life and I will be forever grateful to God for blessing me with this compassionate and sensitive soul mate. He is my hero in more ways than one.

Brian also served our country for 13 years in the United States Army and Navy with many high honors. He enlisted when he was just 17 years old. He served in the first Gulf war;

Desert Shield and Desert Storm. 

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American G. I.

One died for your soul; the other for your freedom.
