I am a mother, and a grandmother. My name is Hevinlee. I was a victim and am a survivor of abuse, physically, emotionally, and sexually, as a child and also as a grown woman. 

     After my triumphant victory, my intense desire to unveil and expose this ‘different kind of rape’ compelled me to write a book outlining a little girl’s life before, during, and after, this unusual crime against nature that is more often than not, 'kept in the shadows'.

     I live in Indiana with my soul mate Brian, who has played a most instrumental role in my process of healing through his enduring love, devotion, and strength. Next to God, he is my hero in more ways than one! 

     This book has been written to encourage those 'silent victims' to come forth and not be afraid to purge those inner demons that can rob us of our minds and our happiness. It is my hope that this book be an inspiration to anyone who has been through the fires of hell and reach out to those who feel alone. God is able and willing to heal you. Don't be afraid to cry out to Him. He is the one person in your life that will 'never' hurt you! God bless!
